Orientation

Today was orientation for my internship with Turner Broadcasting Systems, Inc. here in Atlanta. I didn't know what the cultural aspect of the company would be so I figured I would wear a suit so I would dress to impress. I got there on time for the 9:30 meeting to discuss the packet and fill out forms. After that we got our security badges and parking decals. Since my supervisor, Mark Hill, was in Mexico until Wednesday another staff photographer picked me up to take me to meet another staff photographer. So Jake, Ken, and I went to eat lunch and to chat about what I wanted out of the internship. Jake mentioned that I should type up a proposal of bullet points of what I wanted to accomplish. After the meeting and lunch of great thai food, we went back to Turner to show me around a bit. He introduced me some of the editors, designers, re-touchers, and others who also worked in the department. He had alot of work to catch up on so he let me go. All in All, I think my first day went well. I tried to be very pleasant and give as many firm handshakes and smiles as I could.

Judging by the photo, I think instead of "suit" you might mean "costume."
Ted seems to like it though. Good luck.
